A. Ferer President, Director of Research and Portfolio Manager William A. Ferer joined W. H. Reaves & Co. in 1987. Mr. Ferer, Firm’s Director of Research, coordinates the research efforts of the Firm’s analysts. In addition to these Firm-wide duties, Mr. Ferer manages the client portfolios and also serves as an Energy Analyst. Mr. Ferer’s career in the investment management industry began in 1971. During this time, he has researched and analyzed equity securities (with a focus on nearly all facets of the energy industry) for three investment management firms and for a major regional bank. Previously, Mr. Ferer was employed as an Energy Analyst and Portfolio Manager for Fred Alger Management Co., a Petroleum Industry Analyst for F. Eberstadt & Co., Inc., and as a Security Analyst for Fidelity Bank. Mr. Ferer has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
